![]() if they see this message, and they value you and your friendship, they will respond, and respond intentionally. ![]() State in this text that their response to this message is important to you because you deeply value them and your friendship. You could send them a text expressing to them that you’re feeling confused and hurt by not having received a response from them about your suggestion to catch up, especially given your recent declarations to them about personal and intimate details of your life. The most effective way to gain clarity instead of question is to assert your feelings, thoughts, and experience to this person. We could contemplate for years while your friend has yet to respond. She was supportive when I needed help but now she's just ignoring me? Why? Is she still my friend or should I just stop talking to her? I would just cut her off but when I remember how supportive she was I feel torn. I can't understand why she would say such supportive things but then just ignore me when I ask if she'd like to have a catch up with me and my other friend. Then a few weeks ago she said she'd be available for a catchup after she got back from her holiday, but when she got back a fortnight ago I asked her if she'd like to meet up again soon at some point but I've asked her twice and she just never replies. Last month I confessed my mental health struggles and my suicidal thoughts to get and she responded with a really lovely and supportive text saying that it gets better and that she would be devastated if anything happened to me. I have a friend who my other friend and I used to meet with frequently but I haven't seen her for a few months now because she's been on holiday.
